- Awana - Sunday, August 29 is the official start date for Awana to start meeting again. All Awana students and workers will meet at 5:00 PM.
- By the Book - Friday Sept. 10. Will be discussing Terri Blackstock's 'Predator' and celebrate our eight year anniversary.
- Marriage Enrichment Seminar - Beginning on Sunday, Sept. 12 at 5:00 PM, the pastor will be teaching a marriage seminar in the worship center.
- Book Club will be on Friday Sep. 17 at 7:00 PM at Debra Kratz house.
- Deacon Meeting will be held on Tuesday Sept. 21 at 7:30 PM.
- Library Challenge
- Members of all ages are challenged to use the library.
- Dates of the challenge: September 1 - December 5.
- Receive a challenge card with 15 ways to use the library.
- Complete 10 of the challenges and you will be entered to win a gift card from the Lamb's Well.
- Young Women's Group Meeting
- Will meet of Saturday, Sept. 25 at 7:00 PM in the fellowship hall.
- This is a new group for women ages 20 - 35.
- Will meet monthly and have different topics for each meeting.
- Some of the things we will be doing include: fellowship, book talks, guest speakers, craft projects, etc.
- The first meeting will be a fellowship.
- We will decide on upcoming events, best times to meet, and get to know one another.
- Big Fish Youth Ministry
- See You at The Pole (SYTAP) We gave two great events planned for students that concern the national SYATP prayer even.
- First on Sunday, September 19th at 6:00 pm we will combine with other Perry youth at Crosspoint Baptist Church for a pre-pole rally.
- Then on Wednesday, September 22nd our students are encouraged to participate with youth from around the world as they gather at their school’s flagpole to pray. Warren will be leading the music at the middle-school program this year.
- As always, parents are invited to attend.
- 2010 Youth Workers Summit
- On Saturday Sept. 11 all youth workers are asked to attend this free training conference.
- It will be held at Shirley Hills Baptist Church from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
- There will be large group sessions as well as break-out sessions throughout the day.
- There is no cost and we will do lunch somewhere as a group.
- Please let Warren know ASAP if you are planning on attending.

- Youth Choir
- Will begin meeting on Sunday nights at 5:00 PM.
- First meeting will be on Sunday, Sept. 12.
- Fall Retreat
- Plans are being completed for our Fall Retreat on October 9th – 10th (Sat-Sun).
- We will end up at Passion City Church with Louie Giglio and Chris Tomlin.

- Wednesday Night Supper - each week at 5:30 PM
- Please let us know how many hot dogs and hamburgers each of your family members will need.
- Reservations may be made after the worship service on Sundays.
- To add or cancel reservations, call or e-mail the church by noon on Tuesday.
