REHOBOTH BAPTIST CHURCH 

The Purpose of music in the church is basically three-fold: To bring God glory through praise and worship,To edify and encourage the believers of the fellowship, andTo reach non-believers with the Gospel message through a medium to which they can relate.  

CHILDREN’S CHOIRS

As membership continues to grow, we will be adding grade children’s choirs to our music ministry. These choirs will meet for the purpose of vocal training, music education, worship experiences, and for providing special music at various programs and services throughout the year. 

YOUTH PRAISE TEAM

The Youth Praise Team will be comprised of from 3 – 6 youth who will help to provide worship leadership on some Sunday Mornings and on some Sunday Evenings as well as for other special music presentations – including mission trips. The repertoire for the group will be contemporary Christian music and Praise and Worship Music.  There will be a required audition for this group. Rehearsal times will vary depending upon the membership. 

WORSHIP CHOIR

The WORSHIP CHOIR meets every Wednesday night from 7:45 – 8:45 PM to rehearse for special music presentations and worship leading on Sunday Mornings. This choir is comprised of any Rehoboth attendee (Ninth grade and up) who enrolls and meets attendance requirements. The purpose of this choir to provide adults with vocal training, music education, worship experience, and provide special music for Sunday Worship Services as well as provide special musical programs throughout the year. There is NO required audition. 

PRAISE BAND

The Praise Band rehearses on Sunday Morning at 8:15 AM in order to provide worship accompaniment and leadership for Sunday Morning service. It is comprised of any Rehoboth attendee who meets attendance requirements. There is a required audition to be eligible for the Praise Band. 

ORCHESTRA

The Worship Orchestra will be comprised of youth and adult instrumentalists who desire to play their instruments for the glory of God. There will be a required audition (with a minimal degree of proficiency required). This group will accompany the Worship Choir and Praise Band on Sunday Mornings for worship and also be available for other special performances throughout the year.
